Today I Learned: 1) The word "bleb" is not in common usage in English. Apparently it almost exclusively applies to cells undergoing, uh, blebbing. 2) How to tie off the end of a thread. Badly. But hopefully well enough. 3) You can anesthetize fruit flies by sticking them in the freezer for a few minutes.
